All Things Hair


You know that feeling when you're looking at an advert and you see this woman with the most gorgeous, soft hair and you think, wow so if I use that product my hair is going to look exactly like that. And then you go ahead and spend loads of money on all these products and guess what? Your hair is still the same frizzy mess as when you first started off. Now, where's the hope in that?

No matter how much I try, my hair is still one heck of a mess. I so, so wish my hair could look amazing and soft but nope, it just goes ahead and does its own thing. Who gave you permission, hair. Certainly not me. 

It's funny how no matter what you do, what you use and how much you try, things just don't happen the way you expect them to. That's reality, I guess. Sometimes expectations are far off from reality. But still, I keep on trying. 

Another funny thing is how every single person praises this certain hair straightener and when I go out and buy it and it's my first time using it, now I'm expecting my hair to come out sleek and soft looking, boy was I wrong. Sure it straightened it but not the way I wanted it. It was not smooth or sleek and after like five short minutes it started to frizz. Well maybe I can't blame it all on the straightener but are there one's that can do it well?

Nevertheless, I have made it my mission to get good looking hair and I am determined to do so.

Challenge accepted.

Oh boy, studying. Movie Experience

Is it really better to have any excitement and expectations for a movie or simply have no at all? On one hand, being excited makes you all riled up and ready to take the movie on while on the latter, you're saving yourself from all the disappointment in case the movie down right sucks. Yes, being excited for a movie has its perks but then again not being excited has its own perks too. The question now is what do we do about it. I'm guessing the right and most reasonable solution to the problem would be too have a little excitement and very little expectations. The funny thing is sometimes our brains and bodies does the complete opposite of what we want. Although the feeling of being excited and having loads of excitement which then turns to be completely right is quite a good feeling. But then again, the opposite makes you think, what the hell am I watching. Sometimes it's like a lucky packet. You can't really predict how a movie is going to be until you watch it...
